I perform the voodoo doll this way: spec chooses one card, the card goes back into the deck and is shuffled. give the doll to the spec and tell him to place it on his forehead so the doll can read his mind when he thinks of his card.
you cut the deck into two piles and introduce your voodoo doll that has the ability to find his card in a very unusual way. your hand goes over the first pile, nothing happens (that pile will be eliminated, over the second pile and the doll starts to move just a little bit. this pile will be cut again into 2 piles and the same procedure as before (the doll just moves a little bit, but now a bit more as before. one more time and now you are left with perhaps 5 or 6 cards. you place them in a row on the table and move your hand with the doll over the row of cards and the doll starts to move and raise up completely just exactly on their card. give it a try. I can promise that it kills and is a logical way, why the doll raises up. you can also use it in conjunction with many mentalism routines, as a lie detector and so on. I love my doll and will definetly buy some more because they are perfectly made and extremely entertaining. after the doll has raised up, I take the first finger of the spec and move it around the doll to proove, that no IT is supporting it. when I snap my finger the doll falls on command off my hand. hope you like it guys

Rasmus,
Thank you for that! I've always thought that the voodoo doll presentation was missing something. I think this is just great. Thanks. KJ |

Why didn't I think of that?

I had just a little reaction of the crowd with the original performance. with that in mind, I decided
to take this tool to a higher level and bring the doll to life in the very moment, that my hand passes over the chosen card. killer reactions are guaranteed. just use any card control you have and control the card to the bottom. a short card works also very good and with no sleight of hand at all. the rest is showtime. it's probably yet stronger if the spectator places his hand directly under your hand (the hands can touch if you like) gives a very strange sensation. very appriciated if you like my approach for this wonderful item. use it any way you like to detect cards, any other item or as a lie detector. have fun ps: I will post a little demo soon, ok?

I'd love to see that demo. I think your idea is the next logical step in taking the haunted doll where no doll has gone before

It's close to three months now since I made my order but I have not yet received mine.
I emailed many times to Six but all empty promises and now he didn't even bothered to reply. What should I do?

To All
I've been temped to get this effect ,but I don't see how the secret is not revealed when it's handed out. Is it better to just not hand it out for examination ? Thanks Ralph

I would say it is up to you what you do but I have never been caught. I have rested it in their hand for a brief moment before and after the routine. To be honest, I would not leave it in their hands for too long and why should I? I move on. Most of the time, I don't hand it out. Again, why should I? I try out a lot of my new stuff on my wife and she knows a lot of gimmicks etc. I performed this one in front of her and she was very impressed. She assumed it was IT even though she checked. After, I placed it in her hand for a good 2 minutes and she still had no idea. |

If you sense that they are the type that is going to want to inspect every inch of it then I would not hand it out. But for most, since they have no idea what to look for, a few moments of them handling it is totally fine. It always strikes me as funny when some specs will take something from you and barely glance at it and hand it back immediately, yet you can tell that they feel like they thoroughly examined it.
I guess they figure that if you would let them have it, then they are not likely to find anything anyway, so why waste a lot of time looking. |

Yes I think handing it out first
is better because the spec doesn't even know what their looking for. Todd |
