@ 1kG I actually like your idea. would be really interesting to test it out, @ Zombie Magic...I think your right 1KG's idea of the card cut out might not have the same eerie spooky feel but I think all magic tricks has its place and time.

Biggest issue for me is, how examinable in the doll? With the old straw version I once had a spec grab it and somewhat get 'harmed' by the doll's secrets (you guys know what I mean). ANY risk of harm to a spectator is a big 'no-no' for me (no matter HOW small it may be), so Ive haven't done this type of thing in quite some time. Is this any different for the price?

Hey Johnamen, So you bring up a very Valid Question. And I'm happy to say that one of the benefits of the details put into the entire doll is that you really need to know what the "secret" is to even see it. Thus they wont hurt themselves with this version. Lets just say I was aware of the old method when examining Rogue's haunted Doll and even I had a hard time seeing the gimmick let alone hurting myself. Im sure you would be happy with this one

I'm interested, but here is my question.
I've always liked this effect, but I've never been able to make it work. Plain and simple, I my hands are not "tough" enough. Every time I've tried to do this trick before, it just didn't work for me and generally hurt like heck. So my question is, am I going to have the same problem with this model? |

Rogue also teaches and talks a lot placement, and you should play around with different locations. If you pick one up from us I will be happy to skype with you and work through it, as I had the same issue. Thanks! Six |

Here we are as entertainers...specifically close up magic entertainers...told time-and-time again to take care of our hands. Have perfect hands. Get manicures. Use moisturizer. Use this. Use that. Rub this on before midnight on a harvest moon. And now we have this classic effect, which has stood the test of time, but relies on the fact that the performer must have less-than-perfect hands. I'm so delightfully confused. Yet blissful in my confusion. Ah. The mysteries of magic.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

HAHA...Wizard of Oz, Great point- Ah the Decisions a Magician must make, Rumor has it that the DVD teaches a cool little bonus idea with the doll that is completely hands off. *While still avoiding the use of Strings, Magnets, ect.....

Hey Bart, so "Thank God" we started the pre-orders early, this way we could get a head start on at least some of the dolls. We have a target goal of Oct 20 to finalize the handmade dolls + a day or so for packaging (into the DVD) + shipping all of our pre-orders. We are working around the clock, and will keep you updated as much as we can

Wizard of OZ, hands can be tough and soft you know. Most climbers have very tough skin and the idea behind moisturising is to keep smooth flexible skin that is still as tough as nails. ;-)
I love sponges
