CAR WASH
If this song comes on the car radio, I don't care who's watching from my left or right, I'm singin' it while tapping the steering wheel! Hehehehehe. (Work and work) Well, those cars never seem to stop coming (Work and work) Keep those rags and machines humming (Work and work) My fingers to the bone (Work) Can't wait till it's time to go home (?) (Hey, get your car washed today) Fill up and you don't have to pay Come on and give us a play (Do the wash, right away) (The car wash) Talkin' 'bout the car wash Car wash, girl Come on, ya'all, let's sing it with me (Car wash) Sing it with feelin', ya'all (Car wash, girl) |

Frankenstein, by the Edgar Winter Group. I've played this song a gazillion times and my friends always look at me like I have a monkey sitting on my head. But, man... that song ROCKS!

In your eyes, the light, the heat
In your eyes, I am complete In your eyes, the resolution Of all the fruitless searches In your eyes, I see the light and heat In your eyes Oh, I want to be that complete I want to touch the light The heat I see in your eyes Not 70's either, but my 80's teenage heart still beats on strong.
Thought: Why does man kill? He kills for food. And not only food: frequently there must be a beverage.

Disco was way on the other side of the moon, for me.
I don't think ELP, Queen, Lynyrd, or any other good band had cut a groove of it.... |

The Stones' 'Miss You' was pretty catchy in all its 70's cheese & that Tom Jones song 'It's Not Unusual' has to be the corniest song with some of the funniest lyrics & 'Vegas' sounds that you just HAVE to listen --Its like watching a car crash -- you WANT to look away but...

I think I'm going to win here:
"More, More, More" by porno movie 'actress' Andrea True Bob "Oh God. I feel so dirty now" L. PS -- And just in case I haven't humiliated myself sufficiently in the eyes and mind of every Café subscriber, here's a couple of "starry" additions: "Moonlight Feels Right" by Starbuck (The original surpassed only by Merv Griffin's cover version done on his TV show. I'm not making this up.) "Afternoon Delight" by The Starland Vocal Band (heck, even the BAND NAME is embarrassing) |
