I couldn't find a thread on this, so I am starting one.
Docc Hilford released CM1 in 2006. He then released CM2 and this is CM3. Available at: http://www.docchilfordproducts.com/cellu......ccinarr/ Here's the description straight from his site: "The newest release from Docc Hilford Products is Cellular Mitosis 3. It moves light years beyond the effect of both the original Cellular Mitosis and CM2. EFFECT: A subject thinks ANY word, number, date, place or thought. She thinks of a friend and looks up her cell number. The mentalist uses his own phone dials the friend’s number! And asks for her by name! When the friend in on the phone he asks her to say the first word that pops into her head. And SHE REVEALS THE THOUGHT! That’s right! There are absolutely no confederates used in CM3. The person on the phone is always the chosen friend. There is no set-up or coaching or cueing. This is pure Real Time (TM) Mentalism at it’s finest. Rick Maue has even contributed subtleties that really shine the presentation. Now here’s the BIG NEWS… This is to be a separate e-book priced at $77. But the board of directors at Docc Hilford Products (me) has decided to release it here on the Cellular Mitosis Doccinar. And it won’t cost you $77. It’s included in Cellular Mitosis Doccinar. You get a FREE $45 value copy of CM2 to study as there is important information in that book. And you get the NEW CM3 explained in all its fabulous glory! Don’t miss this deal. Only $27 for over an hour of instructions, plus the MP4 to keep and replay, plus the $45 value book, CM2." I paid $27 and received CM1, CM2, and CM3. It was really cool to see the progression of the effect through the years. In the CM1 ebook, the effect is: you call a random person, and that person on the phone reads the spectators mind. I was disappointed. It used a confederate and was a pretty weak method in my opinion. It was like "The Wizard" but instead of being limited to cards, the spectator could have thought of anything. Then I moved on to CM2. In CM2 the effect is this: A man comes onstage and writes a word down on a piece of paper. The paper gets put into the mans pocket. He stays on stage. A woman is then brought on stage as well. She looks through her phone, writes down a friends name and number. Rips the paper up, and tosses it behind her. The magician is then able to dial the correct number on his phone. When this friend answers, the magician is able to say "Hello ... Jennifer" Or whatever the friends name is. Then the spectator talks to Jennifer and explains what's going on. The magician then talks to Jennifer for a moment and hands the phone to the man onstage. The friend on the phone then correctly names the word the man was thinking of the whole time. CM2 was a huge improvement over CM1, however, it wasn't there yet. Not only that, CM2 involved TWO confederates. I was slightly more disappointed than before. BUT then I went to CM3... Holy cow, this is BRILLIANT. The effect for CM3 is this: A woman is brought on stage. She writes down a word, a friends name, a friends phone number, rips it up and throws it behind her. The magician dials the correct phone number, answers the phone saying "Hello... Jennifer" (or whatever the friend's name is) The magician then hypnotizes Jennifer over the phone. Once the Jennifer is in this trance like state, the phone gets handed to the woman on stage and Jennifer names the first word that pops into her head. IT is the exact same word that the woman is thinking of. The biggest difference here is that it uses NO CONFEDERATES. Another difference is that the need for the man was completely eliminated. It can be done literally anywhere, anytime. Absolutely no gimmicks to worry about or carry around. Obviously, it uses a few p***s. Too many p***s for me, actually. So when reading this I was struck with the idea of cutting the first phase (the dialing phase.) Instead, I would first perform iNSTINCT by Alex Ward causing a text to come through when the volunteer wanted. She would then put my phone in her purse or pocket so I couldn't see the word she sent. I would then go straight from that into the second part of this. Simply having the woman on stage go through her contacts and call one of her friends and that friend would reveal the word merely thought of by the woman on stage. I think it will flow nicely and it gets rid of all the unnecessary writing. I think you MUST get this. This is a fantastic value for your money. It's very bold and that will keep many away from it, but I know for a fact that bold can get fantastic reactions. |

I 100% agree. As soon as you mentioned in the iNSTINCT group that CM3 can be combined with my effect iNSTINCT I immediately purchased CM3. Great value for money
