All,
I am thinking of going away from my suitcase type table I made (less than $150 - photo in link 1 below). I would like to hear your opinions of it as may sway my move to the smaller briefcases in link 2. Thanks in advance. Does this look professional? I like your Roll-On suitcase table, only thing I would do is put your name on it.
The reference for the Salesman's case is to small. I suggest you make up the size listed and reduce by at least an inch, as what they give is outside dimensions. That way you will have a better idea of the size you will have. I had to buy several before I found one that will fit a number of props easily. My case is approximately 19"x12"x14" with extra pockets on the outside. See it here: http://www.overstock.com/Luggage-Bags/Ma......uct.html If you want wheels on it, see here: http://www.overstock.com/Luggage-Bags/Wo......uct.html Here is my write-up: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=34 I like the outside pockets for jumbo playing cards, and decks. The large portfolio on the outside is great for large flat tricks. |

I agree with Bill, your suitcase table looks great! I see your name on the table, however I would have a more professional sign made to match your magician at work sign. Have the sign so that it covers the handle hole.
If the smaller brifcase will fit your props, that's good. I'm just not a fan of the "look", but if it fits your character... I like the suitcase table because it's one piece as opposed the briefcase AND the table. I just like one less thing to pack. I prefer the suitcase table to have "room" and not need it, than to "need" more room and not have it! It just leaves me more versatility. These are just MY opinions, for what they are worth. Mark |

Bill/Mark,
Thank you so much. I think you are right, I just packed my suitcase talbe and got everything in it plus my curtains. I will use the catalog case for my mentalism show. Mark, I am going to order a sign and add some magnets to the top of the case to attach it. Bill, I like what you said about placing the catalog case on the chair and having one of the flaps act like a temporary table. Great idea. Thanks again, Patrick |

I love the suitcase table. I agree that you need something bigger with your name on it but I read that you are already doing that. I have to say the little traffic cones are great and go just perfect with the case. I like a nice size table and have the Joe Leffler large case. It holds almnost everything I want to use for my new act. Please post another picture when you get a bigger sign would love to see it.

All,
Here is the prototype for the sign. I think that the words have to be bigger. http://s296.photobucket.com/user/BYUDAD/slideshow/ Thanks for your feedback and help. Patrick |

It definately compliments your other sign, but you are right, the words have to be BIGGER. You want your name to stick out, maybe add your web address as well. I think you are on the right track. Mark |
