Back in, or head in?

Head in. Back-ins seem to be incapable of staying between the lines. Hate 'em.

Usually head in. Though I may pull straight forward on the way out if it's tight and there's neither car nor block in front of me.

I was curious as to whether the answers would correlate with any observable aspects of the personalities of any of the responders.

How about people who back in in front of your open window or door in an apartment or motel parking lot and leave their engines running, effectively gassing you with carbon monoxide? Same question for those who back in in front of shops or other public gathering places.
I'd say that says something about their consideration for others. |

Depends on the situation. Whether or not I'm going to need access to the trunk is probably the biggest factor for me.
Almost always go front in when I'm grocery shopping, for example.

I've always headed in. I've tended to notice more women backing in then men.

Backing in is for when you need to make a quick getaway. (playing poker with a Svengali deck for example) I also might park backed in if I know it will be difficult to see pedestrians or other cars on getting out.

I head in. In many cases the coach
in front of me has left, allowing me to continue in the forward position. This is much more efficient use of your time. If you back in your odds are zero, for this occurrence. Ponder the following, Warning, running sentence alert: This also can be a positive. If your vehicle is being stolen, and there is still a coach in front of you, the crook will have to back out, offering more valuable seconds to gauge, whether or not you are going to flatten your own tires with a knife, to slow him down(you can see that I have carefully pondered this, in days past). |

Are we talking about parallel parking? Or stalls. If parallel is always back in. If stalls I head in
