Sometime in the early 1980s, I believe, I saw on either the Merv Griffin or Mike Douglas talk show a mentalism trick presented by either Glenn Falkenstein or Maurice Fogle. The magi quickly found, from a pile of perhaps a couple hundred disassembled jigsaw puzzle pieces, the one piece that matched a piece freely (?) selected (by an audience member) from a matching assembled jigsaw puzzle.
Does anyone remember this? Any idea who the magi was and if this has ever appeared in the magic literature anywhere? |
