Any feedback on the new wireless wallet from Cobra Magic and Wayne Dobson?

It's 459$. They should have designed it different, to look like a passport. See what happens when I'm not brought on board as a consultant? |

Sheesh...if I had $459, I'd keep it 'in' my wallet...not buy another one with it.

I saw the wallet in one of the Magic conventions in Israel and let me tell you something - it is very elegant looking and super efficient.
The fact that the wallet is like a passport book is one way to look at it. Another way is that it is a leather jacket for pieces of paper and it looks pretty well made and reasonable for allowing a choice of a few notes. The fact that the electricity secret is so thin and invisible is just astounding. It is simply a high quality tool. After seeing it with my own eyes with several routines I was totally convinced the price of it is worth it. This is for professional mentalists and magicians who can take a prop and talor a smart routine on top of it. Nice job. I strongly recommend it. Hi, I use several products Cobra-Magic, they are all GREAT !! and do a wonderful job on my show. I saw and tried this wallet and this is going to be my next purchase. It is elegant and offers many ways and routines to use it - so it is an important addition to any mentalist's show, highly recommended !!.

Wow, I've never seen a trick cost so much, and leave me so disappointed. First of all, 1 out of 4, is really not that impressive. Second, I know Europeans often carry wallets larger than we do in the States...but HOLY COW, that thing is big, and it only holds 4 CARDS?!?!? Third, I can think of a few methods for this that cost a WHOLE lot less. Finally, I think EVERY wallet I've ever owned was wireless....including any cheap piece of crap you can buy at Wal-Mart for $12.
No thanks.... |

I use it on a regular basis. It does the job efficiently.
It's prompt, quick and reliable. It's super impressive from my experience (pepka I have to disagree, you can routine this much better then 1 out of 4, even if just by feeling and presentation). The product is very well made and looks luxurious. I'm very pleased with this purchase. |

Visa Caberet is a much cheaper alternative for doing the same effect. You lose the hands off but gain $425...

That may be so yanivlevy...but seeing as I don't have $459, it's a moot point.
I wish I did have $459. Sh*t...I wish I had $4.59. |

Blimey that wallet is huge it looks like the size of an ipad mini. Not sure why you wouldn't just buy the Promystic Ewallet it's fantastic quality, small and reliable.

That wallet is huge! Let me take my oversized wallet (er my planner) out that holds 4 normal cards (this looks as deceptive as a snap illusion). It looks like a gimmick to me. You are better off just using your cell phone and iForce or PhotoPrediction. Same type of effect. Over priced and underwhelming. Also poor acting.
Thanks for sharing though. Patrick |

Let's cut to the chase - this is overpriced and sucks b*lls, both from the standpoint of effect and price point.
Having said that, though, the mini switchboard that Cobra put out last year was genius, even if you already own a Wellington Switchboard.
Now appearing nightly in my basement.
