For the past few years I have always lived life close to the edge. Sounds stupid I know. I have done some silly things and have been thought of as a fool. I recently got married to a girl I love and now I am going to be a father and guess what guys and girls? Instead of going out and drinking and being a stupid fool I now sit indoors, my magic books open, practicing card moves and magic...and I love it.
I can't wait to be a dad, I now have a fantastic thing in my life, not only marriage and a baby but magic. YES MAGIC. I LOVE IT. I would rather sit indoors and practice how to freak people out than go out and spend lots of money on beers and whatever... When I finish work I don't want to go and hang out with my mates (who are very nice by the way). I want to sit at home and study the pass and practice how to use my Swami gimmick, my new Chop Cup and watch my Ammar DVDs. I guess I just want to say thank you to whoever first said "pick a card." kevin God bless |

There's something special about what you wrote. Everything else is "stuff", being with someone special and having priorities in life is what's important. Congrats on your new baby and your recent marriage.
It's okay to go out with your buddies occasionally too as with your renewed diligence in magic you'll want to try out things on them. I think, however, you're only doing this rarely anyway and your point was made. You know that home is the best place to be. Thanks for posting I enjoyed reading this. |
