I know.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

Works if you cut and paste the whole thing into your browser.

I was glad to see the Boston Red Sox win the World Series. I think they deserved the win and it was good to see that they won after so long (the TV was saying they hadn't won a World Series since 1918). Anyway, congrats Boston!

They've actually won three of the last ten. But it was the first time since then that they'd clinched it on their home field.

Considering the title of this thread - and with all due respect to the author and the sticky thread that says we're not supposed to mention spelling errors because doing so causes irreparable damage to the fragile self esteem of the author - isn't it supposed to be Red Sox?

I believe Arthur lived in Massachusetts at one time? He should have known?

I did live in Boston many years ago - for a time right by Fenway Park - but my spelling of Red Socks instead of Sox was accidental. Put it down to the fact that I was born in the Southern Hemisphere, and the bath water there spirals down the tub in the opposite direction.
Regarding trying to (unsuccessfully) link the article: I chose the Chicago Tribune because they had a video of the final pitch and team celebration. ... and now that my self-esteem has been completely shattered ... (sniff) ... I'll crawl back to my unhappy, dyslexic, miss-spelling existence ... and hope that fortune will smile on me again in the near future ... |

That's right ... and because I was raised walking upside down, gravity pulled us UP on that side of the earth.
