I think two of the objects are the Abacus (FC) and the Jack of Spades (BC). Three of the numbers are 3 14159 (PI Greek), 2 71828 (Euler Number) and 12 (Harshad Number but also a sublime Number), all on the back cover.

I'd like to add the number 65 (FC) the magic constant of a magic square 5x5; the number 15 (BC) the magic constant of a magic square 3x3 and the number 25 (BC), an automorphic number.

The two hidden objects related to magic could be a Spike and a Chop Cup both in front cover at the center of the Abacus(?).

...and with a little bit of imagination also some Okito/Buddha Box here and there, hidden between the external beads of the Abacus.
Now I have complete confusion Smile

We have a WINNER!!!

Nooner is our winner and will receive four antique dollar size Chinese coins and pouch.

The three numers were Pi (314159) at the top of front cover and also on a slant on the right on the back cover. 271828 (natural log) is on the back cover slanted on the left.

The back cover contains the Jack of Spades who has the Five of Diamonds (or hearts)in Gamblers Cop (or coming from his sleeve) in each hand.

The cover has an abacus transformed in polar coordinates.

Thanks to all who entered and your imaginative answers.

And most importantly, the number 42 is on both front and back, the ultimate answer to "Life, the Universe and Everything." Or has everyone forgotten Douglas Adams?

The acceptable correct answer was Five of Hearts or Diamonds. It's actually hearts but in the low rez picture it's hard to distinguish between the two. On the actual dust jacket it is sharp.

And to quote Pythagorus, "Numbers rule the universe".
