I've got an expanded shell, I've been practising my coin work and I've been investigating what may tempt me in the future.

I know scotch and soda, and copper/silver/brass and have an idea of what I could and couldn't do with the coins.

What could I do with a flipper?

A good book to go along with a flipper will be DesTROYers by Troy Hooser. Smile

Bob Swadling makes and markets a superb edition of the Flipper which he calls "Double Deception". Smile
Bob's product has added 'properties' which make it of far greater potential than an ordinary 'flipper' coin. Smile
Unfortunarely Bob doesn't have a website but can be contacted by snail-mail at

Think penetration effects, also. A flipper works great for those.

A flipper coin, a magnetic coin, and a playing card can be combined to do a great penetration. If you know what I mean.

I had the pleasure of seeing Troy lecture when he was in Philly not too long ago. He has developed several superb effects using the flipper coin that are well worth the money. (Add a shell, and take it from there.)
Cheers,
Steve
