But who wants a freakin' heart attack in the first place, whether or not the heart attack ends up being fatal?

I've never heard pasta pronounced with a long a sound.

I've always heard it as ''pahstah'

Pasta pronounced with the long "A" sound would be pronounceed, paysta, no? Now that would really cause a commotion. Smile

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

Well, nobody *wants* one, but they have to disclose every adverse symptom that anyone experienced during the test phase of the drug. If 1,000 test subjects take it, and one has a heart attack, which may have happened even if he hasn't taken it, it has to be disclosed and reported as, "May cause heart attacks."

As in I read something today from JAMA that the newest drugs for men with Low T may now lead to heart problems. Who knows what to believe anymore?

I sure don't. But I'll say this much: Having the F.DA. do what they do (regulate big pharma) ...Well, if that isn't the classic fox guarding the henhouse, then I don't know what is .

Chessman was shocked to hear pasta pronounced with a short 'a' as in apple.
I'm trying to figure out how he would pronounce it.

He'd pronounce it "pozta" like wizard of Oz.

I just realized there's another peeve of mine just like the bagel one.
It's Vegas. Soooo many people call it Vaggis as though it rhymes with haggis.
It's VAYGAS. NOT VAGGAS.
Ps. Its Baygel not baggle.
