Hello,
Is someone here who can say something about the quality of the "Tango-Magic-Coins?" I like their wide range of Euro-Trick-Coins, but are they good? Till a few days ago, I haven't heard of them. Are their quality similiar to Johnson? Mystically Greetings, Oliver |

I have actually heard good things about Tango. A few people have mentioned some bad things...but the good things outweigh the bad.
I am loyal to Johnson though.

The coin is excellent and folding it is much easier, the only drawback the instructions say that it is easy to replace the elastic, but none comes with the coin and Hocus Pocus does not carry them at the moment.

Do NOT touch their Euro coin gaffs. Almost every single set I bought I had to return. Those I kept I never use!
Their cig thru coin is the worst I have ever seen - you can see the gaff a mile away. Their S&S set is SO stiff it takes hands like shovels to get the thing locked. Avoid.... of course that does leave you with a limited choice for Euro gaff supply - try Eddie Gibson Bob |

Peter Crush, in the UK, makes very good quality coins and has now added Euros to his range.

Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Bill King (Magic collector) from Hagerstown Md. and got to see his wonderful collection.
Not only did he have a lot of great magic from the past but what I found more interesting was the stories. And one was about 20.30 maybe 40 years ago Bills wife wanted to get him a magic trick for Christmas and didn't know what to get. So she contacted Connie Haden to have something special made for Bill. What Connie made for Bill was a folding coin with NO EXTERNAL groove! So I'm not sure Tango can say it's folding coin is "New or Revolutionary." Best Joe

I saw one of their specially made 'Cigarette through ...' coins yesterday and it took a bit of time to find the gaff, it was to all intents and purposes invisible. Even knowing what to look for it took a good ten seconds of close viewing to make out the altered section. And it opened smoothly.

I have their copper silver coin and it is of excellent standard. Well priced too, and comes with a nice small leather pouch to hold them.

My Tango folding coin hasn't broken yet, but it came with three replacement rubber strings and instructions on how to replace them; same for any of their other coins that have 'extra' bits.
David. Yesterday I was using my flipper coin (a Tango) to do a simple coin vanish and my niece was quicker than me and grabbed the coin (normally I hand her a different coin as she always asks). She fiddled with it, but the gaff is so well concealed that she still wasn't able to prove it wasn't a normal coin. Ok, she's only 10, but her eyesight is fine so I was pretty impressed. David. |

Well I purchased mine from Hocus pocus. When I called I was told they had no replacements. None came with the purchase.

I am happy to take part of this forum and read the royal(real) opinions about my coins. Only I want to say that the Tango Folding Coin, are 3 chunks of elastic cover of supply. I have read that to dealer who sold the Tango Folding coins without this supply, it is to mistake of this dealer. Anybody that needs this supply khan comunnicate with me. I will be grateful for the suggestions that improve our quality. Marcelo Insúa |

Yes, as Joe stated earlier, Connie Hayden made these years ago, they were referred to as six piece folding coin because of the way they were manufactured. Lance

For the money and quality, I don't think anything beats Johnson. That's my humble opinion.
