Frank Wallace’s book was the first book I had read since I read Silas Marner in High School. I read it in 1973 and I still have my copy at hand. Using the most basic principle in the book, I supported my self for years. The principle is so obvious that you don’t even need to write a book about it.
The principle is that you can make money at poker even it you are an average skill player. All you have to do is control the game by keeping track of how good other players are and don’t invite the good players back to the game. Simply replace the consistent winner with a player of a lower skill level. What you are doing is taking advantage of the fact that there are millions of average to poor players out there who simply enjoy playing poker enough that they are quite willing to lose money at it. To them – Its entertainment. The casino industry figured this out decades ago. What John Finn did in the book is simply to do what casinos do every day. They take advantage of people who don’t understand the game but think they do. See more at: http://www.readingpokertells.com/other-p......ewf.dpuf Cool, it was about 1973 when I read it.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

As indicated by Tables 31-34, the house will be the biggest winner in almost every game.
