Here's the ad: You show a wooden briefcase with four different color wooden pegs. You say that one of the wooden peg holds a five dollar bill all other are empty. You give a free choice to three volunteers to choose any peg of their choice.(NO FORCE) When their pegs are removed from the box nothing comes out of the box.
After the three pegs are removed you turn around the briefcase to show that a five dollar bill is hanging out of the last peg. The briefcase can be handed out for inspection after the performance. There is absolutely no force and works every single. Now that is real magic!!! Great for parlor and stage magic. The briefcase measures about 9" x 7" excluding the handle. Completely mechanical. The simplicity of it is killer...Highly recommend it... Instead of money you can use candy for kids... you can get lots of mileage out of it with the right presentation and everything looks totally clean... Check out the demo yourself. Junior

Yes, Gaetan Bloom did this with 9 nails. Plus, in his version, everyone gets a prize. I never got around to constructing one, but thought it looked like a pretty clever routine and method.
From Vol. 1 of Tales from the Planet Bloom: Fakir Royale: A board with nine nails holding hidden prizes is displayed. Eight spectators each pull one nail out and keep the prize that falls. One nail is left for you and it is shown to be holding a stack of $100 bills.
Now appearing nightly in my basement.
