Seems like 100 is not enough to be one of the high rollers

I had 250 orders when I got my code. Maybe money spent is also a consideration.

Just noticed this,
Melt 2.0 was added to everyones purchase of the original Melt. This means if you go into your Melt download you will find the video for Melt 2.0 added for free In Melt 2.0 the same signed card melts through the bill and that same signed card is given to the spectator to keep. The effect is instantly repeatable or if you wish to a different effect with the deck you can use it as a regular deck and ring in Melt 2.0 at any time. The method used in Melt 2.0 is the same as Melt but so sneakily different The method is the same but NOT the same Thanks again everyone for all the support of Melt and Melt 2.0. It's been amazing getting all the feedback for my effect. I am so happy that everyone is enjoying the ride MJ |

I need to take more advantage of this effect!
So simple, but so powerful. |

Love this effect, been using it again lately with a different gimmick. Such a great short performance piece. Thanks again Matt!

Anyone use something other than a card for this trick?

Just purchased this, couldn't find a newer thread than this, but really like the simplicity and yet high difficulty at figuring it out.
Is there a newer thread that I can monitor for follow-up ideas from the community? |

For those that perform Melt 2.0, I put a video link under the Penguin Magic “discuss” section on how to modify the card box to help with this effect. The information may or may not help out with other effects as well.

I just brought this back out recently, and I am enjoying it all over again. I have a different handling now. It seems to me that the best way to perform this is to have them pick a force card and actually take the card before the effect. So, I have them pick a card, then I ask for a bill and take the card back. Then I perform the effect after switching in the gimmick. My set up is the force card is a key card in the middle of the deck, the gimmick is second from the top, and the top card is a double backer. I take back the card and place it face up on top of the deck. I ask for a bill and then do a triple turnover, ringing in the gimmick. FYI I have two jokers on the bottom that I can use to remove the gimmicked cards at the end if I need to clean up.
