Bon jour Dam,
I'm not to sure about 3 Fly 3 and 3 Fly 4... But Troy Hooser has four different types of 3 Fly effects published in his book 'DesTROYers'. They're also featured on his 'Total Destruction' DVDs - they all vary in either handling, choreography and/or props. -3 Fly 1 -3 Fly 2 -3 Fly Simplify -Redirected Coins Across I don't know if that has anything to do with what you're talking about? Au revoir... |

Damien,
These are just different versions of the same basic effect, 3 fly. Denis does it incredibly well, by the way. Eric Grosman

If you get a chance see Mickey Silver and ask him to do Spit Fly.

Harris,
At this point, I would climb the highest mountain, swim the deepest sea, and stand in line at the DMV to see Mickey's work. Eric Grossman

Interesting to read these statements about meeting Mickey. He lives right near Boston, and would probably enjoy meeting for lunch.

I still don't have a routine for 3 fly.
After posting I got out the Coin Patriot by McClintock and have played around with his version. Before connecting the DVD with this post I had been concentrating on another of the routines. Re: Mr. Silver, I have not met him yet. I did see his video and have emailed him a few times. He is as much a gentleman as he is a great coin worker. I still love to watch great magic. It reminds me of the first time I watched Albert Goshman in person. Though I have gained some skills since the mid 70's(though the more I learn the more I know I don't know) I still like to turn of the magic brain and let the magical child within out for awhile. Thanks for the brain jog. Harris
