So, let's just say you were rubbing a lamp and a medicore genie with limited powers poped out. He could grant you one wish of being a hypnotist anywhere doing whatever type of sho you want do to. What would you want?

I would want two theatre shows a week, advertised as a psychic hypnotist so that I could open with mentalism and close with hypnosis. Audiences of around four to six hundred ideally.

There was a time I might have wanted a cruise ship, but I have kids so that is not an option.

I have to say I would be doing exactly what I am now.

I'm asking because I know what I have wanted in my career. But my dream isn't everyones dream so I'm curious about what others want.

I get what you're asking, but the truth is I've done everything I've wanted in my career. In it's simplest form worked my entire life as an entertainer. Tours, Vegas, national t.v. spots, Oprah twice, cruise ships, corporate, theaters, colleges, etc.

In the genie fantasy, of course I guess it would be to have the perfect great audiences, in full-theater capacities, for top dollar, yet remain commonly unknown to the masses.

What exactly are you doing now? If you are living your dream, more power to you.

Mike

I'll have what he's having!

Seriouy though ...my ideal would be a regular, smallish theater show (with someone to do the marketing for me) where I could do mentalism an hypnosis shows as well as metaphysical lectures, classes and seances. Three full shows a week and maybe three more smaller class/lectures.

Ideal would be 2 shows per week corporate audiences specifically in the medical or teaching field 90% female attendees because I get along better with females. I am not far from this goal now.

Just returned from a three date gig in Central Europe and it was fantastic. BUT.... I do believe that Danny's deal does sound just about perfect. And I have no doubt that it hasn't got to do TOO much with luck. I'm sure he earned it along the way.
I think it's a good question. As a magician (another job)it reminds me in how magicians think. You dream of the ideal effect and then you find out how to make it happen. We might be talking about something similar here?

I'd hypnotise the genie and take him to a news conference to prove genies exist!

I know someone who does gigs at large business conferences and gets paid up to £24k for a few hours work. Not the usual entertainment but business motivational stuff. that's the kind of stuff I would want to do. Not just because of the money but its the type of gig I find most interesting.

Plus I don't like working every night I get bored. I couldn't do that year in year out I would burn out.

Next year I have a few motivational corporate gigs lined up. I now also have a marketing team around me with contacts in Germany and India one of the goals is to do some work in these places. They also have contacts in the US. If these come off these will be my dream gigs.

I'm with Mindpunisher. I would focus on 'Entertrainment' doing corporate gigs. Motivation and mentalism would be the primary ways of delivering powerful messages to inspire individuals to be the best they could be. This would translate into top dollars and I would only perform 2 full days per week. Anymore than that and I would probably burn out. It's not only about the money. It's about delivering an entertaining product that benefits others.

I just like to see what others goals are. I am living mine doing the show here nightly in Vegas. It was always my dream and I'm still loving it!
