I'm trying to come up with a large, finale production to end an illusion show. So far I've come up with following:
Car Airplane Large Animal However all these have been done countless times. I was after something a little different, maybe two cars? Hehe. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your time, Mike.

Mike,
Do you have a crew? What about the reverse - make them disappear and then vanish yourself. Hmmm…

I will have a crew yes. I don't have a show yet. It's for the future.
I've always felt that productions are more amazing than vanishes. But then again maybe I could produce it then vanish it straight away, … "Time to leave" sort of thing. Productions just seem bigger than a vanish don't you agree? Thanks for your help, Mike.

Just trying to get the creative juices flowing here...
Maybe you start your show by magically producing your crew - you see - just a thought here but, the audience knows that it is you they are coming to see so why not simply "appear" on stage and explain to them that you can not do the show with out a support staff. BAM! … Your crew. Now go on with the show and at the end something like, "I hope you enjoyed what you saw..." and make them vanish. It seems as if it puts a more magical feel on you as a performer and that you are the one doing a bit more work that the guys dressed in black, but then again, I have a crew of 6 and they are all in black. Hmmm…

Nice idea. I'll think about it.
Thanks, Mike. P.S. Does anyone else have any ideas?

I have always felt that producing one thing is a big build up for not a lot of result. What I have always enjoyed seeing is the production of an increasing number of things, getting bigger in number and size each time. For example, how about producing a rose, then a bunch of roses, then a rose bush, then a rose garden (several bushes), followed by a tree???

Hey Mike,
Just a wondering where and what kind of venue you are planning to work. Your idea sounds great, but just because you have a crew doesn’t mean you can do any of the above if you don't have the space, etc. Also if you are planning on a large animal what are the ordinances for your State, City or even where you will be performing these feats? Just some of my thoughts. Robert

Hi Robert,
I'm planning on working in my cities top Casino that has a large stage. I'm also planning on performing in a large theatre for a period of time. I know that I need lots of space. I won’t be using any large animals in the show; it was just an idea that came up in brainstorming. I think I'm leaning more towards a car production at the moment. Thanks for your help, Mike.

I think that producing a car is clever, however the fact that it is on wheels sort of ruins the "How did it get there?" feeling. Why not try something odd like a brick wall that is standing upright, flat on the platform, (not on castors or movable platform), sort of like Malini putting a brick under hat, only much bigger!

Chance,
You might be on to something here!!! Fly the car in the well - drop in a line with a traveler - then simply drop the car - I mean literally! No noise, and man would that be FAST!!! You could even use flash portals as cover! Hmmm…

Ok Steve! Now you got ME thinking! Sometimes the silliest idea can actually become a solution.
I think I will let this fish go; unless someone builds it and it works...they make some money...then send us our share. Hope all is well, Steve, and have a great New Year! Chance
