Hi folks,

I purchased this item for $2.50 at an ebay sale and was told that it has some "magical" meaning.
Although it is pictured with instructions, none were included and the seller has not answered any emails.
It looks like there is a load chamber in the bottom section of the lunchbox, complete with air holes for
small animals. However, there is a swinging "flap" covering the load area, but when in place, it's angled.
Is this the proper way to have a load contained within this prop? I'm now wondering why it was sold at
such a low price? Worth the buy?

Thanks,

AC

For some reason, I am unable to load a photo. It's a yellow lunchbox type box, with red and blue stars on top of it.
It has a lunchbox type handle and a knob with a bolt protruding inside the box. However, when the bolt is all the way
into the box, it doesn't keep the load area "flap" in place.

Go to the tech section and post there that you cannot post an image, they will fix it for you.
In the mean time, do as mike suggested and use the eBay link.

Sounds to me like a livestock production. Balloon to rabbit?

Not balloon to rabbit. I think it's called lunchbox production. The only
place I even found a description was on daytona magic's site. However,
looking at the video, I think I've figured it out. Thanks guys!

Any chance the angled flap used to hold a mirrored surface or a black velvet surface?

There may be some residual glue left if a mirror fell off.

Look at it and imagine what effect a mirror (or black) might have if one were affixed to that surface.

Just a guess, I have no experience with this prop.

Mary, you're back. Long time no see. I thought you were going to stay in the "Greeting" forum only. Merry Christmas.

It looks like a black velvet surface in the video (and not a mirror) so if the hinge works I'd say you got a bargain.

Try putting a stuffed toy or other ad hoc load in and closing the flap over then put some other load in the front area to take out at the start.

If you look at the video you see that it is probably a gravity type tipping mech. Just do what the guy does in the video in front of a mirror and see how it looks.

If you don't have a Dove, Spring Flowers, Sponge things or silk are nice puffy loads.
