Looks like yet another uprising.

Hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets in the Ukrainian capital Kiev apparently.

I skim-read the article and noted that they are opposing their leader's attempt to form closer ties with Russia. Perhaps they see this as a potential return to the old Soviet connection.

Once the statue was down, many people went at it with hammers. I wonder if everyone's attempt was for destruction, or when we will see souvenir Lenin chunks on Ebay?
