Get your THREEK on!

Stab a fork right through your deck to locate a selected card!

Threek is a startling and freaky, ULTRA-VISUAL card trick that will surprise even the most skeptical of audiences.

The perfect combination of sideshow stunt and miracle magic trick, Threek is the PERFECT restaurant trick since you can use a fork right off the table!

* Easy to do
* Use any standard deck

Needless to say it's a great effect which now comes with the required gimmick.

It is shipping to us today and should be with us next week so it's available to pre-order now.

Check it out at Saturn Magic: http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/threek-by-bizarro-dvd-gimmick.html

That the blurb hit the send button to early so here the review
its not often I buy magic effects these days but when I saw this I had to have it, it the perfect table efect fun to do and very simple slight of hand. Bizaro is a great teachers and go throgh everything very well the gimmick supplied are well made and should last along time. The only draw back is the reset this never bothers me when I work I love one of pieces when I work but if you do want to do it again you could easily reset in a min.

9/10

Also mark from satern magic was great help and went throgh everything with me highly recommend this efect if you work restrants or are looking for somthing a bit different

kind regards

Glad you like it Kieron.

The reset is actually very quick if you do it the way he shows (about 5-10 seconds at most), but I was out last night and have adapted the handling a little to make it very easy to reset on the move between tables with nothing for anyone to see.

I'll upload one of our Saturn bonus pages as I have done it this way quite a few times.

It's a great effect and the look on their faces when the fork is stuck in the pack is great, even more so when you show the card is stabbed.

I've always loved the card stab and this brings it into the realms of the table hopper without thowing cards all over the place.

Check the demo out here http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/t......ick.html

He is correct, the reset should only be about 5 seconds.

Do I get this wrong or do you have to "destroy" half a deck of cards for each performance?
If so that also means that borrowing a deck is out of the question?

You only waste/ use 2 cards every time you do this. I use a card from a routine that I've just done before as the chosen card that way it only feels like I've wasted 1 card!

The Threek bonus page has now been uploaded for all those who have bought Threek from us.

http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/t......ick.html

I've now worked this a lot over the past weeks and it is without doubt one of the best effects for me this year.

The fact it's made it into my working set says something as I'm quite lazy and normally stick to what I know best when I'm being paid to perform.

The pile of new stuff I like generally gets used on family and friends that have seen all my usual set, so for something to make my working set it has to be good.

This has not been publisized so it could be considered a hidden gem!

I'm not going to speak for Mark
But when I perform Threek, I destroy a number of cards.

It totally depends of course on where in the deck I cut the signed card to, needless to say,... but with dedicated practice and years of focused meditation it averages roughly 20-26 cards.
And if you don't believe me you can ask the spectator to whom I give the deck how many cards have been pierced.

You result may vary (significantly)

;)

Oh man, Mark - you are not helping my impatience! I put this on a Christmas list, and for the next few weeks I'm essentially banned from the magic shops so my wife and family can have a chance to get me something...so painful! I'm really hoping Threek is picked from the list - if not, it sounds like I may need to selfishly add a Christmas gift to myself Smile

Go for it guys. this effect is a worker and kills. on the dvd you will also find my handling idea, that gives you a completely clean and open ending. the spectator himself can take away his card from the stabbed pack of cards. bizzarro was so kind to include my handling on the dvd. he mentions ''a swiss guy''
because he forgot my name:)

but thanks anyway bizarro:)))

Haha!

So that was you. What I like about your idea is that it gives "added support" to the performance.
But to be fair Rasmus's touch only appears to leave you "completely clean"

I've now been doing this at my Christmas gigs and the reactions have been great.

In the new year when I get time I'm going to be looking for a really nice fork to carry to do this with, something unusual.

I've been having great fun just using a small kids size fork which is ideal to carry in my top pocket.

To give you all more of an insight you get the gimmick made up in red bikes, but you can easily change it to any other poker size deck.

The deck can be held and riffled down as normal which is a nice touch.

A card is chosen but I've been using a card from a previous routine to keep the economics of this down so I don't use too many cards during the night.

The card is slip cut into the middle and you stab. I was a little worried about hitting my fingers but it is really very easy, you have to hold the pack quite firm to ensure you get a good stab which is about the only practice you need with this.

The handling is very easy and if you use the Rasmus idea it's even easier and more visual.

For those worried you waste a hole deck you don't, you use 1 card in the normal version or 2 in the Rasmus version plus the chosen card, not too much for an effect like this.

Reset is a few seconds and can be done between tables.

Overall I have nothing bad to say about this. it really is one of those items you should check out.

If you want to see it live we will be a Blackpool next year so come and see it there!

Just got this recently, and I think the method is ingenious - great effect. My problem is - I can't seem to do it! I've tried two different types of forks that I have around the house, but neither of them was above to pierce even the top card, no matter how hard I hit the deck. To keep the method protected, I'll leave it at that, but just a question to Mark or others - anyone have any advice as to fork types that work best with this? My guess is I just need a fork with sharper tips? Anyone found a place to get a nice, workable fork for this that looks nondescript?

the perfect fork is this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Trudeau-Stainles......b76838d6

it is used for fondue (melted cheese with bread), a very popular swiss meal.

have fun

I am actually using a child's size fork which is also nice and easy to carry around.

The fork you use needs to have narrow ends if the ends are too wide they won't puncture the cards.

The one you are using that won't work will be an indicator as to what is too wide on the ends so just look for a fork with ends that are not as blunt.

I know this sounds like a problem but looking through our kitchen draw I had several that would work and others that would not.

Thanks fellas. I guess I'll look around - I do have a few fondue forks at home somewhere I could test with as well. I'd like to find a fork I could use at the dinner table though as well - I guess mine are just a bit too blunt. Can't wait to have fun with this!

Most forks made for use at home are blunt for various reasons (I assume child safety is one of them). If you go to a restaurant such as a place where they serve steak you can likely find the proper fork. You can also take one of your home forks and sharpen them a bit if you have the right tools.

Heh - good point. I hadn't given it much thought, but now that I think about it that makes sense. I tested out the fondue fork and that worked like a charm. I'll find something for a regular fork as well. Thanks for the tip!

This is the one I am using http://www.saturnmagic.co.uk/new-magic/f......rro.html

They are easy enough to find but if just want to get the trick with fork ready to go this is an easy option.
