I had something like this in the 70's from Fantasio. Fond memories!

had the same back in the eighties. but the ring was out of plastic and couldn't
be placed on every spot you liked. joejoes seems to use a thick rubber ring that
stays in place because it's rubber.

old idea by fantasio with new materials.

thumbs up to joejoe

I used to do a Fantasio Dancing Cane to Color Changing Cane back in the early 70's. I picked up the Magic Bug again after retirement and brought the canes out of storage. 46 years young and still in good shape. The Dancing gimmick was no where to be found so I came up with a new gimmick using Velcro wire holder from Lowe's and clear nylon thread from Jo Anne's fabrics. Using a needle I pushed the thread through the Velco twice and then tie a knot forming a loop. I have an adjustable Dancing Cane gimmick. Works Great.

What Is nice is I use a pair of Opera Gloves to remove the gimmick by picking them from a Top Hat to clean the cane. The gloves stop at the gimmick as the rough side of the velcro which is out sticks to the gloves. Slide the gloves up and down the cane a couple of times and toss it back into the top hat with the Gimmick now attached to the gloves! I either do the Color Change or Cane to silk from next.

I never did this before. I just ordered one from JoeJoe's website.
You can't beat the price. I love JoeJoe's passion and dedication.
I'm looking forward to the practice sessions

The sliding part is a GREAT idea! I've had a few before that it's slightly off and I just had to live with it. Now this solves all the issues.
