Hi Debbie, the Kozmo Dvd's are on my radar. Have some other material (books included) that I need to pick up first, but I appreciate the input.

Hello Chris.
I know this might seem a bit OT, but the best advice comes from Jimmy Talksalot: "It´s better to go out and do something, than to stay home and plan something". One good source of information is probably enough. You will learn from actually performing. Be ready to suck bluewhale in the beginning, but don´t let that stop you. Good luck!

Having been a Cellini fan for a long time. Being blessed to have met him, sit and talk with him, and listen to him talk about magic, audiences, life, etc. and seeing him lecture, makes having his DVD to play, and to remind me, pretty much priceless.

So to me, the price is fair. But your mileage may vary..

LOL Getting out and doing is absolutely on my to do list! I'm just trying to make sure I don't do magic any harm in the process! I want to learn what I can, polish what I can't and throw away the rest of it.

Not really, but I also want to work out a pithy saying along the same lines.
Thank you all very much for the input, I have every intention of learning more about the Maestro when time permits.

I did my first street show when I was 15. Five months earlier I had seen my first street show. In total, I had seen four different shows.

It was 20 years ago. I have read all the books and seen the DVD:s. They did change lots - but they never, ever changed me the way the street in it self did. There's the truth. Stop reading, stop planning, start doing.

That's what the street is all about. In one month, you get more experience than any regular worker since you do 3-10 shows a day. A day!

Perhaps that came out a bit harsh. I mean it in a supportive way. Just get out there and do it. It will change you.

I wonder how many didn't pay for the Cellini DVDs to save money but got some Jay Nosebleeda DVSs instead as they came out on sale from penquin????

chris Z don't worry about harming magic. because everybody who goes out there harms magic. why? because they have to learn. so you do it wrong to make it better. that is great about the street if it does not work, try 10 minutes later again. it needs at least one summer to get the feel of it.

i was lucky to meet Cellini he even taught me some things. CELLINI IS THE KING OF STREET MAGIC. because of him there is now street magic. Have fun!
