Dockers still produces a series of pants called "mobile" either in slacks or casual. I buy them in Black. Penneys and Kohls used to sell them. I get them on the JC Penny website.

The intention is for gadget freaks (PDAs, camera, phones) with so many hidden zippered pockets up the leg.

You can fill them with a full strolling show and they keep a nice shape and contour. The zippered pockets keep you from losing stuff.

Those sound interesting. I've seen somewhat similar (similar-sounding, at least) pants for sale in department stores, but none of them have ever been the right cut for me. They may look and work good, but if they hike up your ... whenever you move ...

Do you know if these are available in stores as well, or if they're only on the site? If they're in the stores, I could go and try on a pair. See if it fits right.

Thanks for the info, by the way.

Are these available with a satin stripe down the outside leg seam for formal wear?

Thanks for the tip, I'll check into the pants.

Bill, the satin stripe down the leg is exactly what I did to my Wranglers for the New Year’s gig I played.

I was asked to perform and MC at a Country Western bar/club for their New Year’s Eve party. I was told that it was going to be a cowboy boot, T-shirt/cowboy shirt and Jeans affair. Hat was optional. So I opted for a “formal” Jeans look. I had a local seamstress sew black velvet ribbon on my black wranglers. Pair that with my “formal” black long sleeve t-shirt and my “formal” Nascar jacket, my boots and Stetson and I fit right in!

It was a fun night or as we say down on the ranch, “it was a hoot!!” Heck I never saw so much line dancing! I would say it was a very successful evening as it included three good fistfights!

Luckily for me, I got my stand-up show in early, well before the crowd got boozed up and super rowdy. The band had more problems than I did!

I knew I was hanging out with a classy bunch. Some of you were so neat that you even washed your hands before you ate. (There was no choice afterwards.) On the ranch, I grew up believing that Levi was the cowboys' tailor.

Now what is shoe polish?

If you never saw Paul Diamond do Captain Bubble, you're just not ready for pink satin shorts. Nobody even mentioned a cape.
