For those of you who may not know, here's a site where you can listen to Dunninger at his Memphis radio broadcast plus an interview with Dunninger. It is http://www.noonco.com/dunninger/
I was pretty impressed with Dunninger. They say he actually used basic techniques plus lots of showmanship to achieve the desired effect. Is this true? From, Cornelius. ![]() |

Dunninger IS worthy of study.
There is a Dunninger book available at the moment Dunninger's Brainbusters by Joseph Atmore. This describes the major effects from his on air shows and experts guess at the methods (there were no records). Many dealers probably stock this in the USA, I stock it in England. Also difficult to find but worth looking out for at auctions is a manuscript Phantini wrote for Al Mann detailing Dunninger's stage act. I think Martin Breese has an audio tape or CD that discusses Dunninger and might have audio clips of him working, but I have never had this. Paul Hallas |

I have all the avialable Dunninger Radio shows and they are great to study especially for the Q & A techniques. When you combine them with both books on Dunninger, it is great study.
