I ordered Moloko.

Thanks so much Writer for making this beautiful thread.
Thanks so much everyone for checking my products. I'm SpencerTricks, and I'm really happy now. PS: The bottle can be borrowed, but it works better when it's not wet inside. |

SpencerTricks,
MOLOKO - can I use candies from my local store in Austria or will I receive special candies? If I can give all the candies to the spectators as a souvenir how can I get new ones? Thanks for your answers in advance!

Hi, gitty.
The original gimmick comes with DVD is for TOOTSIE ROLL, but there's an explanation for making gimmicks with another candies in the DVD bonus section. There's the explanation about devious clean-up at the end of the performance for giving the spectators al the candies, too. So, only thing you have to buy is refill candies. Actually the clean-up is my favourite element in "MOLOKO!". |

I adapted the clean up to where it happens before the effect even begins. You end clean. I LOVE it!

With Prohibition there is a VISUAL component that allows your spectators to actually see a bent cap in your hand tapping on the bottom of the bottle right up to the very moment (of penentration) that they see a bent cap inside the botttle and simultaneously then an empty hand. I received "High Six" today (if anyone is interested). It's based loosely on what I was kinda thinking, but this particular setup solves the problem of being able to push the bill to any height and having it stay there, which is why I was so interested in this. Can't believe I never thought of this because its actually very simple. As mentioned in the ad, you do need to spend a bit of time (a few minutes or so) setting it up at a fixed location. And probably an extra few minutes "tuning" it. But for the most part, once tuned, you should really never have to tune it again even if you relocate to another location.
The only SMALL negative is that one part of the setup requires it to be hidden under cover, otherwise spectators would spot something weird going on. But this certainly is not hard to cover in the right setting. It may just limit some of the locations where you can set this up. Pretty good overall. This is perfect for leaving it set up in your house always ready to go if you wanna perform your friends. |

Kevishu,
Thank you very much for the information. How much space is needed for the set up? I assume you have to be concerned about lighting issues and it probably cannot be set up near a window where there is direct sunlight. Michael

Michael, you do need a fairly wide area for the setup. The trick is explained setup in what looks like a bedroom (10-12 feet wide) which is probably about as narrow as you'd wanna go with it.
And yes, since this uses IT, lighting is a concern. But ironically, setting up in the vicinity of a window with curtains would be the optimal location to set this up, as the curtains provide the extra cover for the method that I was referring to in my post above. The curtains are a natural and inconspicuous way to cover the workings of the method. Of course, it could be accomodated anywhere if an alternative type of cover is used. Sorry, it's just hard to explain much further without tipping exactly what's happening. Hope this helps. |

This is not like prohibition but I feel its just as good. you can perform it just like prohibition if you wish but this adds that little extra something the laymen sees. You can show the bottle empty with the lid on, set the bottle down, grap the cap and put the cap in the bottle. ( Yes watch the video, You can set the bottle down with the lid on then perform the effect ) With prohibition you can not do that. The gimmick you get with this is also very cool. Should last a long time. Is it better than prohibition? in some ways yes. It would depend on you. I like both just as good but I will be using the Hornet now for my cap in the bottle. |
