These notes are close to 5.5 inches by 3 inches, so I'm guessing the wallet is close to the 6 inch by 4 inch size that a lot of wallets are being made in these days (Instant Reset, Super Slim Mullica, Fourseen, etc.). This size is bigger than most billfolds meant for back-pocket use, but I think it's not a bad compromise for something meant to be usable in either a back pants pocket or an inside jacket pocket.

I got mine today and would offer the following thoughts. I own a couple of the instant reset wallets (one with a broken zip after a few years hard use) and think that they are excellent, allowing a CTW reset while fully surrounded.
I use a Royal hip pocket for daily use and have owned several other brands.. Comes with: DVD Wallet Supply of medium Bonsalopes Slides Supply of OTL cards (which have some amusing printing on them) Mullica insert Size: This is almost exactly the same size as the instant reset mark 1 - big enough for a jacket pocket, small enough for a suit trousers (pants) pocket. I would not use it as an everyday jeans wallet though (too big for me). The thickness is almost the same as the mark 1or 2, unless you load it up with OTL cards and the Mullica insert. I would not overload it with OTL cards to keep the thickness down and don't plan on using the Mullica that often. Initial pros: It came well packaged with the usual excellent service from Harry. The leather looks much better quality than the mark 1 instant reset. There is a nice touch with the OTL band which should improve its operation/deceptiveness. Initial cons: The peek function seems well thought out, but I'm not sure of the look of the business card holder on the outside of the wallet. Also, my 400gsm cards with big print do not look good in there, as the border cuts some of the writing off. The supplied blank is OK though. No routines on the DVD (not that they are needed, but would help some buyers perhaps). Other thoughts: Although a bit of a squeeze, I prefer to use the Large Bonsalopes. They just give more room. There are bound to be some comparison with Matthew Wright's Fourseen Wallet. I did own Matthew's wallet and thought certain aspects were very good (with some excellent routines), possibly better than on this wallet, but the reason I sold it was that I am addicted to the instant reset CTW function. The card/ring/object to envelope can be a hugely strong routine, but I would find it hard to go back to furtive or fiddly resets - with the instant reset system I am resetting it as the person is opening the sealed envelope. Overall: I brought this on pre-order without hesitation. It is a better quality version of the instant reset Mark 1, with several extra built in features. I am looking forward to using the OTL and ironically, the Mullica feature for a routine from Matthew Wright's 'The Usual Suspect' for parlour type stuff. I have probably used well over 500+ Bonsalopes due to the instant reset system. I can't wait to road test this and start using the extra features. Time will tell, but initial impressions are that this really is a workers dream Charlie |

Its really a dream wallet of every worker magician.
The concept (mullica style & signed card to envelope) looks similiar to my wallet. I always dream of a wallet with Mullica style and signed card to envelope feature, so I try to make it myself because no one made it in the past. But it's happening now. This is the wallet that I'm still working on: Mullica style wallet with sealed envelopes Congrats to Harry Robson for the release.
Warm regards,

Another idea has just come in from Gary Jones thank you for this Gary .... I've made an awesome discovery with Harry Robson's new wallet, The Worker's Dream, if you own a Telethought wallet you can insert the gimmick from there into Harry's wallet, and if it's too dark to get the peek you just revert to Harry's original method, bingo! Spread the word, and you heard it here first! PS, you now have two different glimpses, two palm card to wallet methods (one into a sealed envelope), built in out to lunch with an added improvement and a no palm card to wallet (you can obviously exchange the card to a ring or any other object which will fit in the wallet of course) all built into one wallet!

For those of us here in the U.S.: To fit both pants pockets and jacket pockets the Worker's Dream isn't tall enough to accommodate an unfolded stack of U.S. currency, but the pocket behind the credit card slots and small flap pocket is just right for a few 3"x5" index cards. I'm going to try a drawing duplication where the original on business card is peeked and reproduced on an index card - a bit more visible for people nearby, and there's an ever-so-slight psychological effect of having the duplicate a different size than the original. And I like index cards.

There are several wallets on the market right now or recently offered that are close to 4"x6" when closed which don't accommodate unfolded US bills, including this wallet, the Instant Reset, the Super Slim Mullica, the Small JOLs, the Badger, and others which escape me now (long day). The 4"x6" size is a compromise which I think works pretty well - it's tall enough for an inside jacket pocket, but short enough for most pants pockets. I've been using a JOL Large EZ as my everyday wallet as it's tall enough for a stack of unfolded bills, but it really requires a jacket, which was a challenge in Vegas last week when it was in the '70s. Some 4"x6" wallets have a deep pocket that wraps around the outside and takes bills horizontally (e.g., the Fourseen and Collector's Workshop Viking Card to Wallet), but more than a few bills = pretty thick, especially the Fourseen. I'd say that for everyday use with U.S. bills, focus on the many excellent billfold-style wallets out now, especially Tony Miller's, or Harry Robson's HOW. If the bills aren't a concern, the 4"x6" size of the Worker's Dream offers the flexibility of use in both pants and jackets.

I was looking for a peek wallet that could offer a variety of effects and after checking out a few wallets I ended up with the S.A.W from alakazam as this looks like an everyday wallet. The workers dream has a lot of potential but I was put off by the eternal peek .I have not come across a wallet that looks like this. For me the S.A.W just has it all and looks pretty clean.Shame the wallet was not shown close up from all angles in the picture as some will not like that side of the wallet.

If any fellow U.S owners of this wallet read this topic, could you please PM me? I've an issue with one of the items that came with the wallet and I'd like to ask someone else about it privately.
