I would guess the drunk driving thing was also a mean spirited hoax, but I also never heard of it until now. http://popcrush.com/cruel-internet-prank......-photos/ There are times when the Internet goes too far. After photos of Justin Bieber smoking a blunt hit the web, an Internet group 4Chan took aim at Beliebers in making #CutForBieber and #CuttingForBeiber a Twitter trending topic. Basically, the group posted fake photos of “fans” with bloody cuts showing their support for the singer after the blunt photos surfaced; it’s a sick and cruel joke. Images of slashed, bloodied wrists began to circulate, combined with messages pleading with the singer to cease smoking pot. Some photos were real; others were faked. Falsified photos like this certainly create problems when there are people who really do self-harm and cut because they are in legitimate emotional pain. Luckily, they can visit the Born Brave bus if they need help.

I'll grant that the image may have been faked. In which case, I was bamboozled. Good fake, if it was. Had the little authenticated check and everything. However, the comment I posted from the drunk driving for Bieber group was shown to me yesterday on the page and that was the exact wording.

BTW, legally speaking, under Bieber's category of visa, he couldn't actually be deported for any of this stuff.

As someone who has lived the rock 'n' roll lifestyle, I can attest to the fact that the more outrageously you behave, the more the fans like it. You start to feel you're invincible, because the authorities let you get away with things that they wouldn't tolerate from "ordinary" citizens. Back in the day, we really pushed the limits to extreme. Which was a lot of fun ... but I will admit that our behavior was totally irresponsible. And much of the time, just plain atrocious. (Nevertheless, some of us lived to tell the tale).
But now that I'm older, I too am critical of the Bieber-types out there, hanging with the wrong crowd, acting like idiots, making stupid decisions, being terrible role models, and screwing up their lives. I would love to share with them that, in regards to outrageous behavior, I've already "been there, done that", and that it really isn't worth it ... but then, we all have to learn from our own mistakes. |

She said she didn't save it and I couldn't find it by searching.
As far as the comment about not having the same criticism for "manly types" I was equally bothered when 50 Cent was bragging about how many times he'd been shot. Some stupid kids are going to think that they have to have gunshot wounds to be "street." Now, I'm not saying that celebrities are responsible for what their fans do, but I think that they should have an understanding that their status gives them a certain amount of influence and choose their words and actions accordingly.

Some quotes on role models to ponder.
"I never felt any responsibility, being a so-called idol. It's wrong of people to expect it. What they are doing is putting their responsibilities on us, as Paul said to the newspapers when he admitted taking LSD. If they were worried about him being responsible, they should have been responsible enough and not printed it, if they were genuinely worried about people copying." ~ John Lennon “If your kid needs a role model and you ain't it, you're both f****d.” ~ George Carlin “People focus on role models; it is more effective to find antimodels - people you don't want to resemble when you grow up.” ~ Nassim Nicholas Taleb |

He told police that his parents manage his medications so I don't take it as a given that he manages his own money. Public relations people always have their clients make donations to popular causes. Come to think of it, celebrities even needing to hire PR people sort of indicates that maybe they should have some inkling of the importance of their image. There are reasons Hubbard had the brilliant idea of recruiting celebrities.

I just think people talking about deportation etc. should decide on more than exaggerated headlines, rumours from hoax sites, misinformation from Bieber haterz, etc. I know (because I viewed it) that at least one of the Bieber related traffic incidents in Calabasas was caught on video and it clearly showed that it was the neighbour / Calabasas resident who was driving unsafely and who initiated the problem (foolishly, the resident was also the one doing the taping), not Bieber or his entourage. As for another of the incidents, "former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson confronted him in May about his style of driving through the gated compound. (Mr. Johnson later said “it wasn’t that big of a deal.”)" Also (the next excerpt is from the link below): http://www.kpopstarz.com/articles/76814/......ping.htm Justin Bieber Egg Case Is Just a Shell of Its Former Claim Justin Bieber is suspected of throwing raw eggs at a neighbor's house on Jan. 9. Justin allegedly caused about $20,000 in damage. L.A. County Sheriff's Department ... didn't find evidence that Justin Bieber egged his neighbor's home after the Los Angeles police raid raided his home. Justin Bieber egging case has no evidence and the police didn't find any Justin Bieber brag texts. Cops also didn't find Justin on the surveillance videos. The Justin Bieber egg raid was called because the cops thought they'd find evidence on surveillance tape footage. The police, hell, everyone wants to find evidence that Justin Bieber launched a vicious egging attack on his neighbor's house. But the cops came up empty handed. TMZ reported that Los Angeles County Sheriff's detectives found no evidence on home security surveillance video and hard drives seized during a police raid that would connect Bieber to the egging incident. The cops raided Bieber home in Calabasas, California on January 14. Insiders told TMZ that cops sifted through items they confiscated from Justin Bieber's home but found no evidence linking Justin to the alleged egging earlier this month. TMZ writes, "Sources familiar with the surveillance video tell us you do NOT see Bieber egging the house. Furthermore we're told there is no video before or after the incident that shows Bieber at the immediate scene. We're also told ... Bieber did not "brag text" about the egging incident." Quote:

But I have never personally driven a car in the U.S. so perhaps there is some issue or subtlety I am unaware of.
