The Sun
Our star, the Sun, makes up 99% of all the mass in the Solar System. Its core is so dense and hot that normally repellent nuclei fuse together in nuclear reactions that produce vast amounts of energy. The Sun is mostly hydrogen (its main fuel) and helium, and radiates charged particles called solar wind across the Solar System. Phenomena such as solar flares and sunspots are evidence of the Sun's strong magnetic field, which changes on a roughly 11-year cycle. Read about eye safety during solar eclipses on the NASA website. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_System Hmmm The Solar System’s Mass Is 99% Sun The sun is, of course, the most important part of our solar system. Even though this brilliant ball of gas gives us light, heat, and energy—and pretty much makes everything work—it’s sometimes easy to forget just how mind-bogglingly enormous our sun actually is. The sun makes up over ninety-nine percent of all of the mass in our entire solar system. Jupiter and some of the other large planets make up most of the rest, and Earth barely even registers in the equation. http://listverse.com/2013/04/27/10-fasci......-system/ Putting Our Solar System Into Perspective http://sciencemonday.wordpress.com/2011/......pective/

Space..... The final frontier.
We have learned so much in our paltry few years of study, and there is so much more to be learned. We really have just scratched the surface of what is out there.
Magic is like Science,

Now put a man in the picture and tell me he knows or will know everything there is to know through science. There is more out there than man can ever comprehend. GET OVER IT man.
If I were to agree with you. Then we would both be wrong. As of Apr 5, 2015 10:26 pm I have 880 posts. Used to have over 1,000

What if we had that attitude a few hundred years ago and simply threw up our hands and said we'll never comprehend how to fly or to tame electricity or to treat disease? Sure, there will always be something just out of our reach or beyond our current understanding. But through science, and science alone, can we unravel the mysteries of the universe and make progress in technology, medicine, etc. Ron :)
