There is very little DYI involved. you receive all of the items you need to make the gimmick(s).
you should have this made up in five to ten minutes tops. |

I think the drama is fantastic sometimes. Quite entertaining.
Misdirect yourself regularly before you attempt to misdirect others!!!

Probem with drama is, people get upset when someone directs it at them...then they throw all their toys out of their pram and the whole thing descends into anarchy.
Better off all being civil to each other - and to the creators - until proper proof rears it's ugly head. |

Don't waste your money....this can be done with well trained slight of hand...search it on youtube and you will see how butchered this effect is by people who do not take the time to learn a slight....

I'd rather waste my money, thank you. Not all of us have the time nor the interest in learning knuckle busting sleights.

It's a valid point. There are other ways to do a simple switch. This does that but also makes possible visually switching to a different card from a different deck. It is visually stunning to see with your own eyes. If this just took the place of what already exists, I wouldn't be anywhere near as enthusiastic about it.

This looks REALLY good. The method is pretty clear how it's accomplished on the video demos. (Arnau's is fake, Jordan's is not, Shin's live performance is real.) Like Michael Graves said, it's similar to Sankey's Paperclipped. But Shin uses a clever gimmick, which makes the switch look a lot cleaner. Probably worth it to pick this up to learn all the subtlety from Shin though.

In my video I take the card directly on my hand because it's the way I present it BUT believe me, you can take the card like in the trailer of The Switch ! The gimmick is invisible and it's possible to let the card on the table AFTER doing the switch !
I don't remember who says that I let fall the mystery card on the floor, I didn't ! I use the same gimmick as Shin's gimmick ! |

Hi Jordan,
Just curious, I trust that your method is the same. But why do you present it the way you do, meaning with your hand sliding so close to the edge of the table? It makes it seem that the mystery card falls on the floor, even though that is not the reality. Thanks for your thoughts. Regards, Mike |

Any of the guys that have seen it can any folded up item work - say money, billets, etc.?
Be remembered for performing what looks like MAGIC, not skill.

Hey Mike,
First of all, when I say I perform it like this I want to say that I take the card and keep it on my hand (different from Shin's trailer where he do the switch, show the card and put it again on the table). About the fact I pulled the card towards me, it's just because it was difficult for me to take the card on the wood table.... This is the only thing ! You can take it directly ! If you do it on the spectator hand, there's no problem with "does he let fall a piece of card?" I said it when I put the link here, I use the same method as Shin, the only difference is the handling I used that is not the same as the explained method in the DVD ! |

Also wondering if the "mystery card" can initially be shown as another card, like a Joker, then have the card 'switch' to the new card?
