This may be a laughable question, but is a stacked deck the same thing as a memorized deck? Which is a Si Stebbins, for example? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

A stacked deck is one that has been (partially or completely) arranged in some known order. A memorized deck (or memorized stack) is one that you have memorized so thoroughly that you know the card at any position and the position of every card.

You can find more detailed answers to this sort of question in my on-line essay on the topic.

Every memorized deck is automaticaly a stacked deck.(Aronson, Tamariz, Maigret)
A stacked deck is not necessarily allways a memorized deck. (example: si stebbins, eight king, BCS)

As Doug wrote:
The word "stack" refers to a deliberate order of the deck or a part of it.
The word "memorized" refers to the fact that you know that order by heart.
The essay of Doug is indeed the best introduction on this matter.
