I have a few Rabbit themed effects in my show, too many I thought . But I did not want to give up using them, so I changed my fraidy cat to dragons. The kids love it. I started to ask them to help give him a name, this added more fun to the routine. I made it in both the mini shown here and the large stage version.

Very nice Dave! How did you make the graphics?

Thanks Regan,
The original was a Google search where I found something close I liked, then a guy I know who paints motorcycles for a living tweaked to exactly what I wanted. Then he hand painted the original large version. I used my copier and peel and stick paper to laminate the mini. Then sprayed with a clear sealer. D. |

Wow...impressive! I modified one of my Scaredy Cat Rabbit props but I didn't want to make the change permanent. I have since acquired several and I hoping to put some of my ideas to use someday if I can. Figuring out how to get nice graphics has kept me from trying it.
Thanks! You certainly did a good job!

The red board with the dragon is not the original plastic that came with it. I used a clip board, traced the original and cut & sanded, no paint as the red background is also part that was printed on the peel and stick paper. I would use a real printer like a staples. their printers are much better than my walmart printer.

Wow! Nice work! But ... have you been poking around in my garage? LOL!
I built this prop back in 2005, when the Library theme was “Dragons, Dreams, and Daring Deeds”. I've been using it ever since. I build mine from scratch. I drew and painted my dragon right onto the Masonite insert. My "other" image is a white dragon. I talked about it in 2007 here: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=6837721 http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/searc......=5249843 |

Very nice. Years ago I built a Run-Dragon-Run for my Wizard School shows.

Really professional, Payne! Apparently we all had dragons on the brain! I wonder what other tricks have been adapted to dragon themes.

What Dynamike said, then use editing software to make changes. Pretty easy.

You are right. So why didn't you use a real rabbit?
