I know what you mean .. I have a feeling I will want every piece in this series but my pocket book won't allow me.
All small town magicians know what 793.8 signifies.

This offering will actually be two effects springing from a single prop.

The first effect, Three Wishes, focuses upon a handling & story suitable for anyone (including younger audiences) and as such is technically the 'Realm of Faerie' portion of the release (the script deals with a dark faerie tale).

Lycanthrope Moon uses the same prop to perform a very different effect employing an entirely different handling and story that is more traditionally bizarre and not (necessarily) appropriate for the youngest audiences.

All 'Realm of Faerie' releases will have this bifurcated structure: including both a 'fairytale' handling and story as well as a 'bizarre' handling and story for more traditionally dark presentations.

The prop itself (or, actually 'themselves') is my 'bizarre' remaking of a traditional utility item, re-envisioned, redesigned and remade for darker routines--as will be true of many of the Realm of Faerie releases slated over the next few years. (No, it isn't anything like a TT or IT reel--it is a very visible, unique and beautiful thing for your spec to wonder at and, yes, even handle.)

Because (in the generic form) it is a familiar utility item in the magic community, the Three Wishes/Lycanthrope Moon prop is versatile and lends itself readily and easily to a number of handlings and story lines. There are also many discussion threads, books and DVDs (for the generic version of the prop) that you can consult for inspiration.

Still a few weeks before release, so that's all I am ready to divulge for now.

Best,

Not a limited edition release.

I am making 100 for the initial release, but I intend to keep restocking Dan with these as they sell out. However, there will almost certainly be lag time between selling out and restocking (as I will likely be working on other projects and will have to make time to create additional numbers of these items as they sell out).

The fairy tale part sounds awesome, I'm always a little frustrated when friends of mine ask me to show something and kids are around.
