I have a very nice Owen Floating Table but do not like the included r*** gimmick.
Has anyone had a custom gimmick made? Was it effective?
Or has anyone discovered an alternative to the normal gimmick??
Thanks in advance.

I've done the Owen table for years. The normal gimmick always works great for me. What problems are you having? PM me if you like.

I agree, if the presentation is done well, it looks fantastic. I hope you have not prejudged the illusion without actually performing it in public.

May I asked why you purchased the Owen Table when you knew you did not like the method.

You cannot make any adjustments to the table without destroying the prop. There are not alternatives to this table, but you can buy the Losander Floating Table.

Staff member Harry Murphy has an Owen's Floating Table, it is beatiful and looks fantatic when Harry performs it.

If you actually read his post, he's not talking about the table or method.
I agree with him; I found the **** surprisingly crude.

Agreed. I would suggest perhaps taking the **** to a pro j*****, and seeing what they can come up with as an alternative 'look' an options.

The table is gorgeous and the method is ingenious.
I just don't like the LARGE BRASS **** in parlor situations. It's great for stage but not in more intimate settings.

He probably didn't, that's just the way Bill posts.

Wellingtons Floating is The BEST ! hands Down.

Looks like a real Table and not some weird tripod table which
I have never seen anywhere , except in magic shows

I don't think this is about which is the best floating table, it's about working with a particular prop, the OMS table – which not only looks like a real table, it IS a real table!
