I have some sets of the balls the yin_howe just posted above. I really like them. They're a full one inch, quite heavy and land in the cup a bit quieter than other balls of that size and weight.
If you want Mike Rogers balls, there's a 1" set on eBay right now. Follow tis link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mike-Rodgers-Min......c1752c9c |

I found that the Leo Smetsers baseballs are a great alternative to the Mike Rogers versions. These are currently available from the Frozen Bird and from the U.K. The only way to currently obtain Mike Rogers baseballs is through the second hand market whenever they come up. The Smetsers chopped baseball works fine in my Wellington chop cup.

I just ordered some stuff from this guy:
http://www.elcubilete.es/CUBILETE/BOLAS_MODELOS.html I haven't received it yet so I can't comment on the craftmenship but he has baseballs in standard white, beige, mustard, red and a nice dark brown. It's all custom work so he can make them chopped if needed. |

No, Leo -- The Harmonica cup packs flat and plays the same way. It's really a product that was based on an idea that Fred Kaps had, which was to make a Benson bowl from a folding synthetic rubber lens shade.
I've never had a problem packing the chop cup I use.
