Hello. I purchased is1 through the penguin lecture. Love love love it. Kudos, Peter.
Now I see that 2 is released and I am wondering for the price if I would be getting a slight improvement and cleaning up of the original or a radically improved effect. Without tipping it, I am wondering if the new version simplifies the month process and eradicates the slight prob with a certain time of year. Hope that is not sharing too much. Also I see that a pad PDF is included that might prove most useful. So the question I guess is for the money, will owners of V1 purchase a cleaned up evolution or a radically improved effect. I would say that is1 is 90%. Does is2 increase the odds of a direct hit? Really just asking out of pure search for consumer knowledge. I love IS1!

Its hard to say. Its certainly a different method which bares a resemblense to the original but isn't just a couple of subtle tweaks. Your starting point is the same as the orginal. E.g it starts with an astrological number, but from there you have a way of narrowing down to 3 signs with just one bit of additional info. There are a lot of different presentations and even a version that doesn't use an astro number or anything spoken. There are some great ideas from a few contributers too. The one that comes instantly to mind is Michael murray who's contribution is very clever and could be applied in other routines with a bit of thought.
Its certainly worth buying and will give you additional options.i was very happy with my purchase. The reason I hold back from saying better is I do IS with telefoto. This works excellently with the original method, so on that basis in isolation its not better. However, I don't exclusively do it like that so this gives you a lot of options. I don't want to say much more to tip its workings but I doubt you'd be dissapointed. Certainly one of my favourite books. |

I believe it's a radically improved effect. Pete points out several problems with the original IS routine. And he remedies ALL of them.
IS2 takes practice. It's more difficult but more streamlined. The original method doesn't have much application. But IS2 has tons. If Peter Turner's material and thinking is your cup of tea, pick it up. Cheers, Mike |

There is a little bump in the road for a certain time of the year, but you can get around that by knowing the star signs and revealing their star sign first then the birthdate. If it their star sign is correct, you found the month. If it isn't, it is the other one.
It sounds like the effect in IS2 has been completely reworked. I also own and adore the original version from the live lecture. My question is... is the book really worth the hefty $70 price tag for essentially the same effect? |

That was my question too. I asked Michael Murray that question and his reply was that if you are completely happy with the original it's probably not worth buying version 2. However I received a free copy because of my own contribution to the book. When I received the book I was very impressed to the point that I know I'd have been happy with it if I paid full price. The presentations are excellent, there are some very good methods for getting the astro number and you learn at least 2 principles that could be used in a variety of different propless effects.
