Stage hypnosis is very simple - but you need a good grounding in stage work. I would recommend acting classes and joining a public speaking club as a good starting point.

After that read some of the better starter texts such as Reality is Plastic (Anthony Jacquin) and go for it.

Well, I'm teaching a class next week in my theater in Vegas. I do the show Hypnosis Unleashed 6 nights a week at the Hooters Casino Hotel. If you're interested email me at

For pub, party or street hypnosis you cannot go wrong with 'reality is plastic' by Anthony Jacquin.
Follow this up with his 'Mancurian approach' dvd and you will have a very good grounding in the art of hypnosis.

Takes hardly any time to learn. just be prepared to accept that sometime it does not work either because of the subject being unwilling or because you don't project the right level of confidence and authority.

But like any good magician you can have 'outs'
My favourite out is a card force "you picked the 10 of Hearts. Do you know why? well remember when we said the hypnosis did not work, actually it did. I told you under hypnosis to think of the 10 of hearts and you did"
