As a former mime, and current user of silent comedy, I find it very important to me.

Yes, I took classes, workshops in mime & movement. Though not directly related, I even find dance classes(ballroom) with my wife can affect my movement on Stage.

Side comment...with mime, at least for me, there was always a lot of sub-vocal chatter going on.
Anyone else besides me venture into ventriloquist work while doing mime.

I'm hunting for a mime teacher in my area right now. It's a good skill to have for performers of all stripes.

Besides a specific teachers, sometimes theatres offer movement workshops.

The hardest I went to was by the Kapoot Clown Theatre out of Chicago.

At 60 I am not is the flexible shape I was in back in the 70's.

I was sore for 3 days following the work out.

Besides movement they covered conflict, surprise, walks and hierarchy.

Movement is definitely powerful in every form of magic. I had movement classes and it can be very powerful cup evoke emotion from the audience.
