Many people have problems trying to repair the elastic on their silver sceptre and I've received many e mails asking how I do it. It is SO hard to explain on an e mail, so I have taken the time and made a short YouTube clip on how to do it. It's really simple. The most important thing to keep in mind is the cord elastic.
here is a YouTube clip for the magic world. Hope this helps many people out. http://youtu.be/p8W4hw5ROps Tommy

Thanks for the info Tommy! Mine broke a few months ago and I just never got the right size elastic to repair it.
Let me ask you this: What ages do you perform the Silver Sceptre for? I ask because I've noticed the older kids (7+) don't give as big reactions as I'd like. Probably due to my routine, but I'd be interested in your thoughts nonetheless. Josh

Great question Josh. I've heard many people say they only use it for the smaller kids. Me, I use it even for ages up to @ nine years old. The combination of the animation of the wand combined with my personality allows me to use it for that age group. I use it on my Birthday Party Mania DVD and the birthday child was eight.
Now my new Measle Wand 2.0 is different, that is a wand that I feel should be used for the younger ones, say, seven and younger.

Thanks for posting Tommy. I wish I had this knowledge a few years ago. I threw mine out when it broke.
