Anybody has any predictions on who will win in Canada vs USA? I am not sure how team USA matches up against team Canada. Anybody pretty knowledgeable on how these two teams match up before the play? Just read a column by a Canadian who feels fully assured of a Canadian victory. Personally, I never feel fully assured a victory but if I was playing and competing I would go out there and do my best and let the chips fall where they may fall. But their is never a guarantee of a victory. I am wondering how both teams match up against each other prior to the game tomorrow.

McDonalds.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

On paper, Canada has a stronger team. But so did Russia...
In this tournament, the USA has absolutely dominated their opposition (apart from the Russia game). Although undefeated, Canada has played weaker opposition than the USA has, and has not dominated at all. They've had to work hard to beat supposedly weak teams. Based on play in the tournament, I think the USA simply looks like a better team. But Canada's lineup is so powerful that I wouldn't count them out either. My prediction, if USA wins, it will be by 2-3 goals. If it's close, Canada will take it.

Canada is favoured for sure, but this U.S.A. team is fantastic! I believe Canada will prevail but it wont be easy, and it's certainly not a given.
This USA team is capable of beating anyone. And Canada isn't that great this year. Hmmmmm.... |

We'll find out tomorrow. My bet is of course, on team USA winning

Another prediction: There will very close to 0% worker productivity in Canada for about 3 hours today.
The winner plays Sweden for gold. The final four are all super-strong this year, and any of them is deserving of a medal. I agree with Bob. Let's hope for a great game and a worthy winner!

That way, their is no way to gain any sort of acknowledgement and you know that the reason why you are giving is pure. Nobody knows it's you and you don't get any acknowledgement or anything in return.

I will still watch the game to support Team USA. There is nothing unprincipled about supporting one's country at the Olympics is it? Just because I support team USA at the Olympics doesn't mean I support McDonald's.

The US will win easily. Obviously Canada is a Cinderella team who know in their heart of hearts that they really don't belong in the big game. I expect Canada will become demoralized almost immediately, and basically quit on themselves and their country before the end of the second period. Canada is an extremely unskilled squad, with a defeatist attitude, who will never be able to keep up with the US team, especially on the big ice. Team Canada is very lucky to have made it this far, thanks mostly to poor play by their opponents and some very questionable/borderline illegal tactics on their part.
I expect the US team to be denting the mesh left, right and center, while the Canadian team struggles to get out of their own way and spends the vast majority of the game flopping around on the ice like a fish out of water. I actually feel a bit sorry for the Canadian team given the countries once proud hockey tradition. |

I expect this to be a tough game with Canada. But I still wish for a Team USA victory.

Ever try to give millions anonymously when wackos with an agenda want to constantly call you evil no matter what you do? Just try getting it past shareholders. But then again they are evil LOL.

Every single time I sit down to do my daily company to do list, I find myself getting up to watch the TV because Canada and USA is playing right now and it's a good game. Still tied 0-0, OHHHHHH NO! Team Canada just scored! A nightmare!

It's a close game, looks like Magnus Eisengrim's prediction might come true. Right now team Canada is up 1-0 and it's getting close to the end of the second period.

Looks a bit like the Women's final, but with the colours reversed. I'm worried.
