Honestly, I have felt all along that Canada would win and I still do even though I hope Team USA can pull it out. It's been a great game so far. |

A titanic clash. Wow. Well played on both sides!
Now they have to prepare for Sweden and Finland. Is there enough gas in either tank to do it again? Here's hoping two of three medals are coming to North America.

Whether Magnus Eisengrim was joking or being serious, it turns out his prediction was right on the money. Canada takes it 1-0.

What a great game, very entertaining. Congrats to Team Canada, they just played better and earned the win. Team USA hung in there and gave a great effort but they got outplayed, plain and simple. Hope Canada takes the gold but I think they are going to have to figure out a way to find the back of the net just a little more often against Sweden.

Finland has traditionally had an awesome ice hockey team as well. Boy the competition is stiff in this Olympics. I think Obama might owe the Prime Minister of Canada another pack of beer after the men's team USA lost to team Canada.

Canada is due to break out and score some goals, they had many good chances in this game but Quick was standing on his ear out there tonight. He played a great individual game. Everyone played really well. Nice clean, well played game. Looking foward to both games.

Quick is world-class.
Even though Canada had the edge for pretty much the whole game, USA was never out of it, and never gave up. My heart can't take much more of this.

For some reason when it comes to the Olympics the US teams, both men and women, can't seem to figure out the Canadians. |

They threw a lot of shots towards the goal but they were never really able to hold the zone very well and they never really able to get anything set up. Canadas defense was pretty much relentless and obviously that was critical to their win having only scored once. It's not nothing to shutout that US team. |

Ugh. Guess we have to keep him for now. I'm just glad Mayor Ford wasn't thrown in the mix.
