Great finger pickin tutorial for "Goin to California". It's a 2 parter in drop "D" tuning but well worth it.

I haven't watched the whole thing because I really don't play anymore, but I used to have a lot of fun playing with the special tunings that Led Zeppelin used. Bron-Yr-Aur is my favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqptegyFWbE
It uses a C Major 6, explained here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fy1CJF7M2w That tuning was also used for other Zep songs.

Nice find Daryl. That guy did a good job.
That song did well for me (if you know what I mean ) in my college days (mid-late 70s.) The fact that I looked a little like Plant, but with straighter hair, didn't hurt either. Of course now I look more like... well, like Plant does now but with almost no hair. |

That's cool Michael, I never knew you were a picker.

Not a picker anymore. I was much better at magic than I was at playing guitar. But, I had a friend who was an excellent guitarist, and a huge Zep head, like me. He'd listen to a new song a couple of times, and nail it. I'd follow his lead.
