Hey everyone! I wanted to tell you about a new trick I have been having some fun with. This was sent to me to give my honest opinion on so here it goes. So most people know of the different discount cards that stores like Kroger uses to track fuel points and savings. This is a set of four different bar coded keychain tags that have multiple revelations on them. Each tag is made of a plastic just like a credit card that will last forever. Each tag has two to four revelations on each. Now none of the principles are new. I think anyone that's been in magic for a little while will know most of what is being used. The tags range from pizza shop to party store. Clip these to a keychain and you have about 15 - 20 min of solid mental magic. Now I wouldn't want to do these all in a set, but multiple tricks can be routined within one tag. That's what's great. Pull all the tags out and have them pick one. It's kind of like they get to pick their own little show!! Directions are printed on three sheets of paper front and back but give detail of everything, even if you have never played with some of the principles. All in all I have found that if you do a lot of walk around and need some great mental pieces that takes absolutely no space this is great. Will absolutely last forever. If any one has any questions that I may be able to help with let me know. 7 out of 10.

Interesting, are the shops named, well known? in other words brand names that are found all over the world?.

Yes... We do not have major brand store names. As Devin said, would be copyright infringement.
Hey Cameron.. I wish I knew of your effect more as well. I had looked it up. When someone mentioned it to me. And yours seemed to be more focused on the T&R effect. Again wish I thought of you first as well I would have sent you one to look atlas well. There was an effect put out by Mark Jenst called MagiCard. Cut this was the size of a credit card and just looked way to fake. With our cards they look very real!! And the forces are truly blended in with the cards. For all, those that may be curious of the cards please feel free to email me directly at Scorpio741@aol.com I will be glad to scan them for you so you can peek at them. I will be listing them in my website within next 48 hours available for sale. We have the first 20 of these numbered and signed by both myself and Russ. We believe Murphy's Magic will have the exclusive with these as we have them exclusives on our last 3 marketed effects. Any questions always glad to hear from new magic friends. Eddy

I was fortunate to get a review copy as well.
I like it. Potentially a lot. I say potentially because I have a few hang-ups about some of the forces (more in a minute). But there are a few that I love now having as well. The bad: I agree with Devin that there is a disconnect (I don't think he worded it that way however) between having the forces printed, and being able to make it not seem exactly as it is; a force. This is mainly in the context of more "serious" mentalism (for some of the forces) in that I don't love the idea that it's already on the tags, so it may feel as if they were steered in those directions. I also don't care for some of the forces as they feel convoluted. But that goes for the forces which were in existence before these tags, which simply take advantage of them. The good/great: I love the card forces. They fit in perfectly with two routines in particular that I always do when asked to perform something "magical." When I write down my "set lists," I give my tricks names so I can reference them for myself. I've come to call one routine, "shaped" based on the premise that we are shaped, consciously and otherwise by our surroundings, often without being aware of it. Part of the routine is noticing numbers and more all around us, again and again (the time, their watch, cards chosen, etc.). The card tags here will be another "phase" that will work great for me for these very reasons. The tags are everyday items, and the eye see what it wants to. Owners will understand. But the card forces are just fantastic. I also LOVE that these are well-made, everyday items in play. You can go with the forces, or not. But they're at your disposal without sacrificing pocket space. But they are there if you want to use them. These are fantastic IF you want "simple" tricks and forces, sure. Because they're there. But they are also great as tools for parts of longer routines, if you're like me and want to draw attention to coincidence and not make the force the main effect. They're well-made, innocent and perfect add-ons to many routines. I don't love all the forces however. But you have so many to choose from. So far I've only tried it with my one routine, and it played very, very well. It made a great ending for the story I use. I like it, and I will definitely use them. |

Ed Bedrick along with Russ Desimone really wanted to test drive their new effect and kindly offered it FREE to a select few to try out and let everyone know what they thought. This is a really fair and respectful way to introduce new products and that’s a huge positive for their company.
“4 loyalty TAGZ included” BALLOON TAG: Bad News: - This is the weakest force. - ESP symbol prediction, I don’t believe will ever be used. There is no connection to a loyalty tag and an ESP deck that I can think of. - Card reveal as a coincidence maybe? Good News: - This tag looks awesome, the real deal - It’s super cute and fun for little kids for sure. - Kids won’t care or know this force. - Great if you’re a walk around clown and you want something quick to show! PIZZA TIME: Bad News: - Pizza is small and hard to count - It’s a lot of counting and spelling - It’s more like a puzzle than a magic trick - Card reveal as a coincidence maybe? Good News: - Force is predictable but maybe not right away to a lay person or child. - It will kill them at the pizza store next time you buy a slice. - Its funny and cute more like a joke which isn’t bad depending on how you present it. LINCOLN PHARMACY: Bad News: - Uses magicians force for coins, voila you picked the coin what a coincidence? - Or use presidents name as the force, no way. - The 1089 force yikes too much math for me. - My least fav tag Good New: - The tag looks real and awesome great quality - It might be fun to pull out coins, do a trick, then force and have a laugh - Its light hearted great for kids and could play funny because it would be so random. PET CITY: Bad News: - Playing card prediction. - Odd number prediction is simple to figure out after the fact. Good News: - This tag is my fav! It looks great and has a cute cats on it. - The odd number prediction does seem like real mentalism as the person is thinking of a number and your reveal it. - The shape prediction does seem like real mentalism as the person is thinking of a shape within a shape and your reveal it, which seems a little harder. - Kids and adults will love this! I like it. Summary: Bad News: Devin Knight is right if the tagz are preprinted and you use a force and it is written on the tagz, then people know you forced it on them. Therefore, seeming like a store bought magic trick. The forces are weak but they are printed on the TAGZ so you only have so many choices. You will never show this to a magician, but that’s not the idea. I don't personally like preprinted reveals unless they just saw me write it, that's just me. Good news: - These tagz look awesome they really do look real. High quality. - If you perform for kids this is great. Its easy for them to understand and can teach them to count or spell. Clowns will love the balloon TAGZ they are innocent, cute and appropriate for the younger set. Actually pet city may even get a smile with an adult if you have fun with it. ***Overall 3 out of 5 stars***
