Trailer: Back Pocket by Leo Smetsers In 2003 Leo Smetsers and Jean Paul Mertens developed a routine that's 100% commercial, using some coins and a back pocket. On this DVD Leo Smetsers shares one of his most requested routines. It's totally commercial, truly magical and a real audience pleaser. The plot is simple and easy to follow with multiple phases; making "The Pocket" a routine that's fun and entertaining to watch. With "The Pocket" coins jump from hand to hand and vanish into thin air, only to reappear under a specially designed back pocket prop (which has been laying on the table). When you purchase "The Pocket" you're not just purchasing a prop, you are purchasing an audience tested professional coin routine, refined over hundreds of performances. The Pocket will give your audience a guaranteed mind-blowing experience. This instructional, step by step DVD comes complete with the special gimmicked back pocket and the audience tested routine. *Coins and accessories not included. If you ever get to a point where words have no meaning, you're probably talking to a dog.

Appears to be more like Pocket Coins by David Neighbor.
You place a ripped off empty jeans pocket on the table. Magically you take three coins one by one out of it. You magically make them disappear and appear inside/under the pocket. The climax is that all three coins disappear inside the pocket. |

Oh yeah, I knew that I had seen the routine done with a pocket somewhere before. I would like if the trailer showed some more, to see if it had any major improvements to any the previous routines. What is the gimmicked pocket supposed to do and is it necessary, or just something to justify the cost?

Should be David Neighbors. I know it is in a set of lecture notes but can't remember which set. But you can find it here

I bought it during my buying frenzy at Blackpool. I think the gimmick just allows the pocket to remain in a more friendly position for one of the vanishes.
