Not sure I understand all the hype for this at Blackpool... from what I can see in the video this looks a lot like other effects on the market and appears to be the same, if not very similar method.

Blackpool hype... but the effect looks like a dozen effects already in the market. maybe the method is revolutionary... but the video is not very selling.

While I do think this look pretty good, I still think Identity by Richard Sanders will achieve the same memory in the spectators minds at the end. Plus, you can have anything written.

It's a shame, the demo doesn't do this justice. Roddy showed me this two years ago and it's awesome. Similar to other stuff but it's very clean looking and the method is ubber practical. Very "real world". That's what sets it apart in my opinion. Some very respected, smart magicians were very impressed with this.
Roddy is a guy you will be hearing a lot from in the future. He's extremely clever. And just a great guy.

Flux was the hit of Blackpool from what I heard from Tim Trono. No hype. Tim raved about it and told me the method which is brilliant.
While there have been moving ink effects this is stunning, the method brilliant and easy, and it had everyone grabbing one. Dynamo, Cyril, Michael Weber, Luke Jermay, Mark Elsdon, and many many others were raving about it as well. I know they sold out very quickly. I am well aware of many of the effects in this genre but this is by far the best out there. Here are a few of the quotes "Flux is incredibly visual yet simple in method. I love it. I didn't see it coming. It has my highest recommendation." - Cyril "This is a startlingly visual effect with an elegantly simple yet ingenious method." - Michael Weber ~Steve |

Does this effect require refills?

Can't find where to purchase this and demo has been taken down. Can never understand this when a product is released with high demand.
I can only assume that most dealers are not business men. Barry |

Hmm? The demo video has been "removed by the user" and I can't find Flux on Full 52's website. Did they pull the product?
Kenn Edit: Oops, I was too slow. I see Barry noticed this too. |

When I watched the video last night, they said in the description that this video would only be posted online for a short time. No idea what that's supposed to accomplish, but that's why it's down.

1.Identity is gold!!!!
2.Yeeeeeeaaa I went to Blackpool, had a beer in the Ruskin, took a picture with Mel Mellers, Shoot Ogawa is still amazing 3. This looked really cool but I believe you can't really give away the reveal card because it is not easy to make another one yourself. If this is not obvious from the description, there is only one reveal. The card can be examined because it is not gimmicked. I don't think I would get a lot of use out of it. Best pickup in Blackpool for me was Kollosal Killer with the wallet. This never sounded that great to me but I am having a lot of fun with it. Also Leo Smester was selling a slightly nicer Turbo Stick with rounded end and edges for 5 BP. I bought 3 of them.. |

The you tube video was a small taste. There is a professional trailer being shot and will be released soon.

The visual is great. The effect seems very reminiscent of another recent (?) effect - can't remember the name, but Eric Jones was on the trailer - where the back of a card had the name of a card written on it, and the ink 'visually' changes to another card. I must say, looking at the change created a real "wow" moment.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".
