Do you use a giant, sponge non-dairy creamer for a final load, Pete?

However if you hover your mouse over one, look at the ALT text, the little tool tip that shows the coding, and at the end you'll see a word or letters between to colons. Type that code in your post and that image will appear in your post. E.g., the fifth from the left in the first row - the really big mouth? - has "rotf" between the colons. If I type that you see Capice Pete? Jim |

OK, now it appears that the ALT text shows only the code. Easier yet!

"No, it's on the bottom of the cup." It pays to be friends with Mr Daniels!
(Jim, that was weird, it has now appeared!) |

Pete, that's great. I like the brevity and clarity of it all.

I don't disagree with any of that. It's all true! The only thing we can do is dampen the dorkiness with good presentations.

Don't you call me a dork, Cameron Francis, or I'll bury you under my book shelves, after which I will... O me, my heart, my rising heart...... I will do such things.....

Wand production? For those with their sleeves rolled down, it isn't a problem, natch. I ain't no Miami Vice. It's a horrible look. Horrible.

I meant the basic method behind this trick tomsk192, producing the wand (or the balls from the wand) is distracting from the premise of the trick.

Or a nice bit of incidental magic, depending.
Tom (I don't do a wand production.) |

I presume everyone here already figured out that one could use the props given to do a vanish of a ball from under the cup where you use the wand to roll the ball across the table, lever up the cup, spin the wand then use it to push the ball under the cup. Right?

For a camera, final loads give an entirely mischievous perspective.

I would never say that IT IS dorky. More that I, you he/she is, because of this or that. I think that when you can control and handle that, which look stupid to others, then you are truly your own. lets take McBride or Max Maven as an example. They got what a lot of magicians don´t have - a bearing character. I don´t think that it is necessary in our art, but it is a nice touch that perhaps will suit someone. |
