Just saw this new Spiritus Board !
I really like the drawer space and larger size. http://www.outlaw-effects.com/store/gold......mus.html

Love the look, both the board itself and the geometry of the whole shebang, the drawers & everything.

My Spiritus Magnus is fine for me right now, but I must say, this is one of the prettiest props OE has ever put out. It's truly beautiful, and could work in so many settings. And, Karl Feret is a very efficient and productive designer and builder. Nice work guys!
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

The look is great, but I have questions about the incised relief of the characters and other carvings. That could cause the planchette to catch as it was moving. I use a fast motion with a talking board. Also, the price is kind of high, but if you don't do your own work and want any prop of this style I guess you have to bight the bullet.

Roth PMed me and let me know that the incised relief causes no problems with the planchette and that the price includes shipping. I don't want anybody to think I was overly critical of his work.

As a collector of talking boards. If it's engraved, it's 'mo better.

Well, this is the first time I wish I didn't have the S. Magnus. This new board-drawer is a beauty!
Curious, do the Lun@ or R**m S3rvice hardcover books fit in the drawers? Does the bell fit in the drawers? |

You watch carefully as each spectator puts their secret object in one of the three drawers.
You watch their amazed faces as the bell answers questions correctly about each spectators secret object. |

Wonder how long delivery will really be... mine was 6 months...other pieces more than a year. Stuff is amazing but you have to be on them...

I bought the last Magnus. It's fantastic.. such a beautiful and spooky prop.
Maximus looks incredible. Another work of art. Love the extra drawer space. I wonder if the werks are the same as the Magnus? Same power? More Power? One or two H#t Sp*ts? It seems as though once again Roth, Karl and Tim raise the bar! |
