I read about Apologies to Dickens and googled for it. The only seller I found was, duh, my local brick and mortar - Grand Illusions. http://www.grandillusions.com/

It's a great manuscript for the story telling deck. It's perfect for Christmas time.

I have the Kyd's Pickwick card deck, which is Dickens but the wrong story. I think it will work but does anyone know of a better deck to use?

Charles Dickens walks into a bar and says, "I'm bereft of inspiration.
Prepare me a martini." The bartender replies,

"Olive or twist?"
"Long may magicians fascinate and continue to be fascinated by the mystery potential in a pack of cards."

I did the routine for IBM/SAM holiday party. Seemed to be well received.

LOL I'm an English teacher. You can bet I'm going to uncork this at Monday's department meeting.

The Pickwick deck, which I like a lot, is useless for more than a handful of people. I will have to go to a jumbo deck. Anyone know of one whose faces look Victorian or would otherwise fit better than a standard deck?
